We generally consider eras before 1200AD to be outside of our
production coverage. However, this does not mean that we do not
make early costume, in fact we have completed commissions for
Roman tunics, Celtic trews, and early Norman outfits.
We therefore make strictly to customer requirements. You will
need to provide a complete set of diagrams or illustrations of
the garment(s) and a quotation will be provided for your
consideration. Please allow 2-3 months for research, pattern
making & testing, cutting and manufacture, dependant on the
complexity of the garment.
You might also consider the garments below, mainly extracted from the 14th/15th century list. Certain items like shirts and cloaks remained virtually unchanged in shape and are presented here as good basic costume provision.
